We are looking for Revenue Manager for our company. Job Description:  
  • Manage and monitor the entire Reservations operation in accordance with the departmental policies and procedures.
  • Train the Revenue team according to reservation policies and procedures.
  • Prepare weekly rotas to ensure sufficient manning to facilitate a smooth operation. ?
  • Updates reservation policies and procedures when changes occur and communicate to the team accordingly. ?
  • Prepare occupancy forecast and yield planner in unison with the Sales & Marketing and Front Office department.
  • Liaise with the Sales & Marketing and Front Office department in respect of occupancy and rates analysis.
  • Record Corporate and Travel Agency rates in the system and corresponding files.
  • Allocate daily tasks to Revenue employees.
  • Continuously monitor telephone etiquette, handling of VIP guests and general performance.
  • Attend to all inquiries, complaints and requests regarding reservations and/or reservation operating procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all reservations requests received by email, fax and letters are replied to within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Ensure that the correct market and source codes are linked to the rate code used.
  • Keep fully updated regarding arriving VIP guests, groups and/or events.
  • Ensure guest details are entered correctly and without error. ?
  • Keep fully up to date regarding current booking status and remaining availability, stop sales and promotions of the hotel and local market.
  • Promote and maintain good public relations and use every opportunity to maximize business.
  • Coordinate with Sales & Marketing regarding groups and close out dates.
  • Chair the weekly Revenue Meeting, attended by the General Manager, Resident Manager, Sales & Marketing Director, Front Office Manager and Banqueting Manager (if required).
  • Reply to guest comments in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Coordinate with the hotel department heads regarding top VIP groups.
  • Liaise with Sales & Marketing and/or General Manager regarding VIP guests, upgrade requests and complimentary stays.
  • Manage the reservation team to maintain correct and orderly filing of all reservation correspondence.
